We invite you to join us (admission is free), and you will enjoy a fun outdoor atmosphere with books, entertainment, authors, speakers, food, music, and more at the annual LA Times Book Festival on the USC campus (largest in the US).
The Los Angeles Times Festival of Books began in 1996 with a simple goal: to bring together the people who create books with the people who love to read them. The festival was an immediate success and has evolved to include live bands, poetry readings, film screenings and artists creating their work on-site.
Top speakers at the festival will include Meghan Trainer (multiplatinum recording artist), Stacey Abrams (politician), Iliza Shlesinger (comedienne) , James Elroy (crime author), Jennifer Garner (actress), Joan Baez (activist singer), Katherine Schwarzenegger Pratt (author), Matthew Perry (actor), and Dave Barry (humorist), among others.
